This week we are introducing the theme of food! Where do we like to go and some top tip suggestions that you might not have come across. We start the foodie series with Malcolm’s top five suggestions, all local to the cottage

  2. Top of the list used to be Muckrach House Hotel, but this has sadly closed.   3. It goes without saying that Nethy House Café is on our list. A true family favourite.
  4. For somewhere less obvious, try the Boat of Garten Golf Club, View Restaurant https://www.facebook.com/viewrestaurant.jb/Fantastic for a walk down to for a cup of tea or something stronger or indeed a meal.Stunning views

Last but by no means least, friends of ours run Cragganmore House https://www.facebook.com/cragganmorehouse.  This is 20 minutes up the road, and you can eat there with prior arrangement.  Tony makes the most amazing meals and with a roaring fire and traditional house what more could you ask for?  Great for an evening meal and it’s BYOB.  You need to book ahead and make sure you mention us when enquiring.  Tony also does outside catering if you have a special occasion in
